Our team at HiveMind partnered closely with Dr. Monee to launch an effective online presence from day one. The strategy focused on local SEO fundamentals and a user-friendly website:

• Website Development: We designed and developed Rooted Flow’s first website, crafting a modern, calming design that reflects the clinic’s holistic ethos. The site was built with a mobile-responsive design and on-page SEO best practices, targeting relevant local keywords (e.g., “Issaquah acupuncture” and wellness-related terms) to help it rank in search results. We also integrated clear calls-to-action like “Book an Appointment” to convert visitors into clients.
• Local Listings & Google Business Profile: We set up and optimized the clinic’s Google Business Profile (GBP) and other local citations/listings (ensuring name, address, and phone consistency across directories). This was crucial for local search visibility – especially considering 46% of all Google searches seek local information. By populating the GBP with accurate information, service categories, and photos, we made sure Rooted Flow would appear in Google Maps and local search packs for wellness services in the area.
• Online Store Integration: To expand revenue streams, we built out an online Shopify store for Rooted Flow, allowing the practice to sell wellness products and supplements directly from their website. This e-commerce integration not only provided additional value to clients but also created more indexed pages and content on the site (which is beneficial for SEO).

Throughout the process, our approach was conversational and human-centric – with content written in a warm, welcoming tone and highlighting Dr. Monee’s expertise and personal story. We also ensured the site’s user experience was simple and inviting, so visitors felt a sense of trust and calm, much like they do in her clinic. 

Results & Impact

The impact of these efforts was almost immediate and has grown dramatically over time. Rooted Flow Wellness saw its first new client from organic search just a couple of weeks after launch, far faster than expected. This quick win defied the typical SEO timeline for new sites and validated the power of solid local optimization. In Dr. Monee’s own words, the clinic experienced “an abundance of growth” in its first two years, so much so that she had to expand her operating hours to accommodate the influx of new clients.

Over the longer term, the numbers tell a compelling story of sustained organic growth for the business: New user traffic increased by over 201% from 2023 to 2024, with organic search traffic up ~128.8% and direct traffic (customers coming directly to the site) up 134.5% in that first full year after launch. After a website redesign and refresh to further improve user experience, traffic has continued climbing. Year-to-date 2025 vs 2024, Rooted Flow’s website has seen another +78.9% growth in new users, including a +156.6% jump in organic search new users (and an astonishing +336% in direct traffic, as the clinic’s name recognition in the community has grown).

Crucially, this surge in visibility translated into real client engagement and bookings. Active user engagement (measured by time on site, pages per visit, etc.) has risen steadily – averaging ~31% growth year-over-year – indicating that visitors are finding the content valuable and sticking around. Conversions have skyrocketed, with key conversion events (like appointment requests and contact form submissions) growing about 49% year-over-year on average. The practice’s appointment calendar became fully booked, necessitating additional hours and days to meet demand.
